    Highway idle

While driving down the highway, if i put my car in neutral it will sometimes idle high (1200 or so rpm) Other times it will bounce 1000-1500. But if i come to a stop after about 2 seconds the idle returns to normal (700-800).
    WTF is wrong with it?
