high idle after long tube install
Hey all, i recently put longtubes on my car and i noticed that whenever i take the car out of gear, with the clutch pushed in, if i just let the car coast down the road, it'll idle high at around 1500 rpm. if i let the clutch out, it'll go down, or if im at a stop it'll kick down. Has anyone else experienced this?

Mine does that too. I'm pretty sure that its the speed sensor that is making sure your won't put it in a low gear with idle range rpm. Not 100% tho.

no its called throttle cracker.... u have to have it uve always had it just never noitced it so if ur bogging the car @ lets say 3rd at 25 mph and ur at 1000 rpm when u push the clutch in it wont shut off,, when ur bogging it it trying to make it idle there fore closing the IAC valve so when u press the clutch in u killed all the air and will come close to killing the eng...., ive tried to remove it so i can show off the cam but, if i do it stalls all the time and kinda sucks
