Visually inspect the return line from the Tee just past the fuel filter, back to the tank.
If the return line is ok, then the problem is in the tank.

Yes most likely. And the regulator is in the gas tank. Its part of the fuel pump module

common misconception.....that thing you see between the rails is a pulse dampner and not a regulator. This may be the first time I've ever seen someones regulator go high like that if that ends up being the issue. Not sure I've read where anyone has had that problem....usually the other way around.

A question since I've never seen a "High Fail" what would it do to the performance of the car

Ya, it's out of whack... I'm not sure if the regulator can handle the twin pumps... If it would stay at 70lb consistently, it wouldn't be a problem, but it doesn't seem to be. I just installed these, and better do some more research.

are you going up the tail pipe or do you have a bung put in? If in a bung what position of the tail pipe is it in? Such as 3 oclock, 4 oclock ect? Condensation will kill those dead in no time flat......did it when I was running the LM1. Had it up the tail pipe and blew condensation in it...lasted about 2 seconds.

Bung at 2 oclock... The LM1 unit itself... The lcd went out. Holy Crapolla.
I'm searching right now for another. Maybe a dual unit. Sent a PM on a FAST dual ! Guess the car won't be out this weekend.
