im thinking my problem will be between the o2 sensor and possibly a tune.
i unplugged the maf and drove with it unplugged and it stumble when i came to a stop. i cleaned it real good and still happens.

yeah if you changed cams and didn't get a tune, then thats a good possibility.

That computer is going crazy trying to read all the added air going through that motor.

the cam was on the car when i bough it.

the only thing that i've added/change on the car was the intake. but the previous owner told me that when the car was tuned by mti he had a ls6 intake at the time.

its probable that the tune is old and it needs a new one. do tunes even need retuning if no mods have been made?

only other thing i gotta check are two more things. i sometimes get p1637 for the alternator. i think it might be the wire gotta make sure its tight all the way. and the other code that i sometimes get is p0478

I am thinking the intake or the throttlebody is the culprit. If there is anymore air going in beyond the tuning specs, than another tune is needed.

i think i found my hesitation problem

well yesterday i ran the car with the maf unplugged and the car ran better. i had cleaned the maf prior to this and was still getting hesitation between 50-60mph. with the maf unplugged it ran a whole lot better and very little hesitation not really noticeable.

another thing that I noticed was that with the maf plugged in i get higher kr reading as high as 8.xx with it unplugged the highest is about 3.xx. is this normal?

on tuesday im getting another maf and will be swapping it out. also forgot to mention that another part of my hesitation was due to pvc rotted where it makes the y. i replaced all of it with fuel line.

does the maf control the shift points on the tranny? reason is that when i had it unplugged it was hard shifting somewhat at take out. got code p0748
