Here's a new one for ya
So I went to my local napa and bought a nylon gear from them ( I din't want to pony up 50 bucks and wait however long for shipping) I put the new gear in yada yada. It worked I tried it like 5 times. so last night I turn my freaking headlights offf and what do they do GRRRRRINNNND. so I get home and turn the freaking things off and now my drivers side light stays up and goes grrrrind WTF are their little gremlins in my car or what ?

GM hiding headlights have always been a pain - matter of fact most any hiding headlights have had problems regardless the make of the car.
My guess is someone here has a writeup as to properly rebuilding them.
