HELP... please respond ASAP!!!
kind of like overnight my clutch went from firm to soft and stalling out at a lower point to the floor.
i haven't been burning clutch. well i checked the clutch resevoir thing and it is empty.
so would that be the issue or is my clutch out???
it was perfectly fine 2 days ago....
what kind of oil should i pick up and to where do i fill it up???
no leak... that i am aware of... there's no leaks on my driveway....
this is my first stick car too by the way...
in the manual it says to fill to plastic step... wth is that???
It's this part!

You do have a leak some where cause the master cylinder (the on the pictures) should not be empty. My guess is your slave blew. your are going to have to get break fluid I think it is (should say in the manual DOT 3 or better). The step is the indentation about half way up the resivoir. You will also ahve air in the system that will make things tricky.

this happens to my car when its cold my clutch goes halfway to the floor with play i can pump it back up like their is air int the system. i took it to my mechanic to have it bled and they said that ifyour getting air in the system you need a new slave cylinder and resivoir so, i would imagine that you need have tohose two things replaced.

I would put some fluid in first and see what happens.Being that low means you probably got air in there but fill it and see.You may have a miniscule leak somewhere that will take years to get low again.I think you use BRAKE fluid, check your owners manual. Good Luck

Your slave(release) cylinder is located inside your bell housing which is a sealed unit. If it is leaking you wouldnt know it besides the severe loss of fluid that you are experiencing and the clutch engaging at the floor or not at all. This happened to me. It cost me around $500 for the slave cylinder, tow, bleeding and fluid. Good luck my man.

this is the "step" they are talking about.
use dot 3 brake fluid.
and there is a bleeder on the driver side of the tranny in the hole by where the clutch line goes in
hope this helps

I have to correct myself to make sure I dont give any bs info. Im not sure that the bell housing is a "sealed unit". I forgot to mention that. I do know that the slave cylinder can leak inside the bell housing and it could be a while before you notice any leaks. There is a great sticky in the drivetrain-manual section that deals with the clutch pedal. I highly recommend that you read that sticky.

hope this helps some...
the bellhousing is somewhat sealed, it verywell could take a while to notice a leak.
(Just FYI, i had the braided line rub in two, and lost all my fluid at a redlight!)

I would use dot 4 fluid....it has a higher boiling point than the dot 3.
