a Trex is one hell of a cam and needs alot of attention to the tune to get it ot run right. also did you rebuild/install motor properly

The car isn't tuned to the T-Rex cam it's tuned to the smaller 224/224 cam that I had before. As far as the build it was built right and installed right to the best of my know how, this is my first ls1 build, but I've installed and taken out an ls1 too many times.

there's your problem.....you need a tune. The t-rex is way different than that 224.

I don't have the exhast finished yet either just headers right now. Would this cause it to miss also?

if you're running straight headers there's a very good chance it's sucking a little air up far enough to effect the O2's. Best to put exhaust on it and get it tuned.

Your old cam spoke German. Your new cam speaks Brazilian. You have the Brazilian cam in and your motor is trying to speak German to it. Tune it so they all can speak together
And yes I know they speak Portuguese in Brazil.

Yeah I figured that it was probably creating havoc on the O2's I was planning on getting exhast put on it, I was just trying to figure out what the hell was going on first.

it's probably 90% tune related. That t-rex is night and day compared to the 224.

I figured it would be, I can't wait to drive the damn thing! Hell I haven't even had a chance to break the engine in yet. U guys wouldn't know anybody close to this area that can tune it for me and not charge me a arm and a leg do ya?
