    Question Help needed

I got a 2000 Camaro Z28 and the keyless entry remote stopped working, probably due to dead batteries. Now when I use to my key to enter the car after I unlock the door and get in the alarm will go off. Any suggestions on how to remedy the situation aside from getting another remote?

Maybe change the batteries in the remote and try re-syncing it? I don't remeber how to do it, but I think it is explained in the owner's manual.
