help need info on p1416

well hay guys i have a 98 trans am with about 500 hp 6 speed yesterday i did a burnout a small one and i heard a small click car started running rough or mabye even misfiring im just wondering if that 1416, port air curcuit malfunction will cause that also because that the only code that came up

i wish that was the case im really in for it now my whole air system had already been eliminated so now i think its an injector problem car is missfiring very badly and the 7th cyl plug has gas on it any ideas guys?

To start with i would replace that plug and switch the plug wire and a coil pack from another cylinder to see if it runs any different.

Agree, swap them with #3 or #5. Do you hear any abnormal noise from #7?

no noise just misfiring i put a new plug and it once again had gas on it and a different wire im wondering if an injecter can get stuck open and just keep droping fuel in there??also i had my friend that works for gm come over with his comp he turned off every injector 1 by 1 and when he did the 7th thats the only one that the engine didnt run different im hoping it just needs a tune up and 1 bad injector what do you guys think??

why would you think that he unplugged the injector#7 and the car ran the same with or without it every other one he turned off the engine showed the effect and on his little computer it showed a continious flow of fuel to that cyclinder is it possible the injector is stuck open car still runs hard just misfiring? no noises!
