help me please

i have a 98 vette ,trying to put headers on. i need to remove the oil fill neck, the plastic neck that holds the oil cap. can't get it out. it s on the valve cover. i tryed pulling it out but only moves out a little then stops and it dose'nt turn out either. please help

i thought you could go from the bottom easier. it was slightly easier for me to go from the bottom but no matter which way you go it aint no simple task. i also belive the neck can only be removed from the inside if the cover

The drivers side goes in from the bottom and the passenger in from the top. You'll have to pull the valve cover off to slip it in. Check the write up out at LS1howto.com.
