Help, how do I remove this bulb?

The little bulb that lights up the headlight switch on my 1999 Trans Am is burned out and needs to be replaced. I've removed the switch from the vehicle but can not figure out how to get the little bulb detached. Does anyone know how to do this? Also I noticed the "off" setting on my switch does not have a red filter on the back like the other settings do. It has been a long time since this bulb worked and I can't remember if the "off" setting lights up light or is supposed to light up red. Can anyone remind me?

Hi!!! Just wondering if you got the little bulb out of the switch?
I have a 99 camaro and, just replaced this bulb for a LED, to pull the bulb just twist and unlock with a small flat screwdriver.
hope you find a new one.
