help guys
i was driving home last night and came to a red light. my steering wheel started shaking and my rmps dropped to like 400 at idle. the car seemed like she was going to stall out *i have an A4* no lights came on. i let off the brake and gave it alittle gas.. she kinda "kicked" into gear and drove fine. i got home pulled into the driveway she "kicked" into park and almost stalled. im thinking vaccum *sp* leak?? but the rmps would be almost non existant if it were that right? i dunno guys any help you could give would be awesome.

could be a place to start. tune it up. (plugs, wires, o2's??, filters, etc. ) then see what you've got, and go fromthere. mr luos is pretty sharp, maybe he can offer more insight

next time you pull to a stop, shift into neutral...
if your car acts "normal" (no rpm drop, stumble)
you may have a problem with your (auto) transmission.
I've seen this b4 in older cars w/ an auto.
