HELP! A few questions..
Okay so I checked my 98 for codes because it has the ses light on and these were the codes I got...
P0102A Mass air flow low frequency
P0405A Exhaust gas recirculation valve position sensor circuit low voltage
P0412B Air injection reaction solenoid relay control circuit
P0418B Air injection reaction pump relay control circuit
So the "B" codes are cause of the AIR system right? Now if I delete the AIR deal, will those codes go away? And I would have to get a tune for that right? And then I would just pull out the pump and all the hoses with it right?
And as far as the P0405A, that one is cause of the EGR right? If I delete the EGR I would have to get a tune for that too right? But can I delete the EGR and keep the ls1 intake manifold or would I have to get a ls6 intake manifold?
I just rather delete all that stuff rather than fix it..
And as far as the P0102A, how could I fix that? The maf sensor is the one from my 02 ws.6 so that maf sensor has about 71k miles on it (if its the stock one still, which I think it is) would I have to get a new maf? Or what? I'm a little lost on that one and I didn't have time to check for the steps on the All Data.
I also plan to get some headers soon like within a week or two for her and I wouldn't have to worry too much about them coming with egr or not cause I could just block it off right? Does the AIR deal connect to the exhaust at all?
I know I know lots of questions

Ok 0102 is the only concerning code; it means the MAF has failed and the car is running in speed density. It is also locked into a low timing MAP like this, so that's where your "pep" has gone to.
Do you have a buddy with a good MAF you can throw on the car to try out?

I thought there was a difference from a 98' maf to a 02' maf? Does anyone know for sure for the OP.

to answer a few of your questions. yes you could delete air and egr and get the codes tuned out..that is fine ..if you get racing headers (no egr flange) then you are golden ..block off plates for the intake manifold etc are available at ws6store.com..along with other places

Sweet so that'll get rid of my egr and air deal codes.
And the maf is off my 02 and it is de-screened. But it was working fine in my 02 when i took it off. Could it be that the code was already there from the 98's maf going bad? I could get the maf from the 98 and put it back on.
Could the 0102 be the code that's causing my car to hesitate when i floor it sometimes? What it does is that, i gun it and it'll stutter a few times before it gets going.

Fix the problem before beating on the car.
It is unlikely that a descreened MAF would cause p0102. A bad connector can do it... Why would you change the MAF and not reset everything in the PCM though? At a minimum, fueling will be different between units, so you need to do that when you swap MAFs for that reason besides clearing DTCs.

I didn't change the mafs cause the maf is practically glued to the effin slp lid. How can i reset everything in the pcm?
