Question help coolant leak coming from????

I changed my oil this weekend and noticed that I have a small coolant leak on the drivers side just forward of the oil filter but I can't tell where it's actually coming from. Anyone have any ideas? It isn't leaking too much b/c there isn't and hasn't been any on my garage floor and the radiator was full and the car isn't running hot I just can't really see behind the headers to tell where it's actually coming from....Thanks in advance!

could it be coming from the bottom of the water pump and running back to the point you saw it? If that's the case it *may* be leaking from the weep hole in the water pump.

well, I would make sure before pulling the water pump but that is a possibility. Clean off the area under the waterpump and behind it real good and take it for a drive and see if it gets wet.

I'm sure after 122,000 miles it probably is b/c I'm starting to have to replace a lot of those type of things such as alternator, starter, belts etc. I guess b/c I don't drive in traffic and I only drive 10 miles to work each day it doesn't have much of a chance to leak enough for me to have noticed it much...yet. Thanks though!

yeah, at that mileage you're just getting due up for some things to be swapped out. It's just a machine at the end of the day and things wear out. My dad used to call it "swarming". The older cars especially were bad about that. You'd hit 100k with those things and they'd swarm on you. Everything that could go wrong would all start going wrong back to back. Newer cars are a little more reliable in that aspect.
