More information would be appreciated. What do you mean by drives like crap? Is your engine light on? Did you keep the same cats? Did you hook up all the necessary fittings (egr and air)? Did you pull out a spark plug wire when installing? Did someone pee in your gas tank?

Sounds like the plug wires are not on all the way. I have read a few people here after a header install where they have said almos the same thing, denied having a spark plug wire loose, then had to come back on and post several days later that it was indeed a plug wire issue. If it was running fine before the headers, then now it does not, 99.9% chance you did something wrong during the install. After my Hooker LT and ORY, car ran perfect and I have not had it tuned. I do have a Service Engine, but that is because my EGR, AIR and rear O2s are not tuned out. I picked up almost 2 MPG highway.

no ses light on? A tune could be the culprit but I would also look for burned wires by the headers, it's very very easy to toast a wire on the header. I would also look at the plug wires and make sure none are cracked or melted. Does the car have any hesitation to it or miss? It could be un-related to the headers also. Any other mods on the car and what exactly are your symptoms?

Break the water temp sensor or a plug? both of those are common. I broke both on my install and car ran like total shit until I put a scanner and found 100+ misfires on #8. Would be odd that a tuner could not spot either of those though.

Did he ever give a reason as to why he could not get the car running properly and what tuning program did he use?
When I got my car dyno tuned recently, the tuner spent about three hours on the dyno getting everything dialed in and then we took the car out and drove it on the street, under varying conditions, with the HP Tuner equipment still hooked up, to make sure everything was correct under real driving conditions.

all he said was the front 02's werent reading i think it might be the harness. he does a street tune. similar to your guy he has me drive while he tunes it from his laptop
