Since two days ago. My car is actin funny.
The RPMs are high. Almost on 1000 usually is bout 600 which on idle.
Any idea what the problem could be?
I also noticed the steering pump it's makin a noise. Seems like it needs oil but is not that low.
    Could that be the problem

I doubt the problem's are related
The power steering whine is probly your pump on its last leg if your fluid level is fine.
    Any codes?
What mod's on the car if any?
Have you tried cleaning your maf and Iac motor?

The steering pump and the idle started at the same time.
I was told the pump was changed last year.
The car is all stock on motor.
No codes at all or anything. Car feels good good Is just that the rpms are to high.
I don't knw what the problem could be

Like already mentioned, I might check IAC and for vacuum leaks also. Spray some carb cleaner around and see if the idle changes.

I'll do that again. Hopefully works.
I washed the engine bay last week but i didn't see any difference on the idle till two days ago.

How much does the steering pump cost?

check the PCV hose for cracks/vacuum leaks. Its a common source.

yeah the idle is most likely a vaccum leak somewhere. the power steering pump just probably needs to be replaced. i think i got mine from autozone and it had a lifetime warranty which is good bc i had to replace it twice in the same year. idk why tho really. i just thought bc the tires on our cars are so wide its hard for the pump to turn the wheels especially when the car isnt rolling. I think the pump was around $50.

Check the power steering pump and hoses. You don't wanna waste money replacing what could be a good pump and find out the hoses are the culprit. Also, check the IAC to see if the pintle is covered in carbon. If it is, then clean it with throttle body cleaner.

    Thanks 4 the replies guys.
I'll check the vacuum hoses and make sure everithin is fine. I thought it could be the PVC valve cuz I forgot to changed that. On the tune up.

I found the pump on eBay for 45 bucks. I thought it was more expensive. I'll go to autozone once I find out that's exactly the problem.

Like I said earlier. I washed out the motor and everithin looks cleAn. But now it has oil on the steering pump. So idk it could be a hose. Or something.

Replacing the pump twice in a year sux lol
Is it hard to change the pump?

    Found the problem.
I checked the vacuum hoses. And I didn't see anything visible that could be the problem.
I start up the car. And I hear the air leak comin out of the intake.
The hose the goes to the intake manifold has a big hole, it's just right after the Pcv valve. How can I fix that?

You could probably get some vacuum hose from a parts store or go to a hardware store and get some silicone hose to replace the piece with the hole.

Not sure which hose you're referring to but on the passenger side front of the manifold are the PCV air supply and return hoses. Either can be repaired with some duel line hose.

If the PS pump was low, the fluid must be leaking somehere...so track down that leak. If the fluid hasn't been flushed, that should be done also, and remeber it takes a couple days for all the air to settle out of the fluid once it's been low.

You can replace that small section with 3/8" (I think) fuel line hose. Take the PCV valve to the parts store with you and match up the correct size hose that fits over it snug.

Any codes? A vacuum line could have just popped a leak or come off all together
