I'm not sure on an impala, probably in a fuse box in the engine compartment.

Are you sure the fuse is good? Sometimes they look OK but should be checked for continuity to be sure. On my car the fuse is labeled AIR PUMP and will throw P0412 if removed/open. Not sure on an Impala, check the owners manual diagrams - maybe you have something different.

The way I read your question is that you fixed the problem and need to clear the code. To do so you need a scan tool. From what I've heard, parts stores like AutoZone can clear it for free.

If you clear the code your car still needs a drive cycle complete.

Thanks for the info, I'll check the fuses again. Sorry I'm not too good at explaining car stuff, but I cleared the code about 3 times and it keeps coming back on, so I assume there must be something wrong.

If it keeps popping up then there is something wrong. I had an intermittent problem with my air pump, it is electrical. It would occasionally throw a code, but when checked it worked fine. I went several months before I just had it changed and everthything was good. Also check for a loose or broken hose going from the pump to wherever the hoses go.
