    Heater Vacuum Control

When I pulled my engine for rebuild, I removed all of the EGR and AIR plumbing. When I reinstalled the engine, I realized the heater won't switch from the floor to the dash vents. I didn't know this vac controlled. I found the line that runs through the fire wall, I'm just trying find where it goes to the motor. Can I just run it straight to the back of the intake, or do I need a check valve?

As far as i know you need a check valve. They commonly fail and that could be why it wont change. Does it stay on defrost all the time?

No, it failed because I unhooked it by accident...lol.
I have the check valve still, I just wasn't sure if i needed it or where texactly the line runs to on the manifold.

Back center of the intake, beside where the brake hose goes.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but didn't want to just go for it. Should be fun getting my hand in there. Looks like I'll be deputizing the wife...
