heater hose??

i have a 99 camaro ss & one of my heater hose busted..i call the dealer they have the part for $170.00 can i just to to autozone and buy heater hose and cut it to size....will it work the same...

I can't see any heater hose running $170, they must have priced you for a new radiator or something. I would call around and ask different shops. Autozone or Advanced should have a hose that works.

the whole hose is aluminum and formed hose........so that sounds about right

this an OEM GM item only if you want it like the original one. trust me I looked around.
