    apexviii does them
shaner does them as well I think $125 for tb

oh you don't necessarily want to polish heads, it's good to have some turbulence in the head to mix air and fuel.

anyone ever deal with those ported and polished throttle bodys off of ebay where theres always a very, VERY well endowed hot chick holding the throttle body right between them makes me want to buy it everytime =) but you gotta send in a core for most of them. Im not sure if you have to. THey are stock throttle bodies that have been ported and polished and knife egded and all that hoopla.. Ill try and see if i can find a link

I haven't dealt with them personaly, but pretty much what happens is you $1xx for someone elses stock tb that they have ported, then they port your old tb and sell it to the next guy... Just a way to have quicker turn around and less down time.

I do remember the girl you are talking about

lol yeah, she was very good at "presentations"
yeah i saw in the bids that you pay the whole bid and then get your core value back when you send in your old TB with in like 30 days or somthin glike that. For $50 after core return, i guess thats not too bad. At least you get your product first. How good is a ported and polished stock TB anyway? is it worth it? at least for $100 or less

I'd say yes unless your planning on stepping up to a bigger intake and 90mm tb. No big power gain but give quickr crisper throttle response

So until i make the big jump to the fast intake, a ported throttle body would be a "next step" option for now. I got a SLP Mass Airflow sensor, those are at i believe 85mm and then the stock throttle bodys are at 75 or 78mm? whats the stock intake manifolds size on ls1's and ls6's?

I got it for free so I took it. $175 or so for free? Ill take it A guy I lived by was trading his 2001 ws6 for an LS2 GTO (forgot the year). He stopped by my house and asked if I wanted his K@N filter, SLP lid, MAF sensor, bellows, and tuner for free. couldnt use the tuner though, year specific. I TOOK THe rest! he even had a LS6 intake manifold but didnt have enough time to get it off before he traded it in. He was a little disappointed after he got his goat when i beat him at the track with a relatively stock TA. I didnt have my headers on yet then. lol
