Headlight styles
Hey guys, what kind of headlights do the high end cars have that have the white, clean light. Are those HID's? Is there any way to get that look with out the cost of HID's?

Come on, theres enough knowledge and parts on this site to build 10 hubbles, someone has to know this. I promise I'll make the next question a little harder.

Go to autozone and get some of the best bulbs they have. Slyvania makes them. 13ish bucks for once. I have them and they are very nice and bright.
880 Silverstars for the foglights
Otherwise spring for the HIDS

go to ebay and search for hids, theres a million of them the lows (driving lights) are 9006's and you can choose the color usually for bright white to blue to purple. ive havent bought any yet but usually u get what u pay for. my buddy just bought a set for his silverado for 70 dollars so ill see how well they look compared to like high end luxo cars. also some people bought theirs from ledgauges.com on there they are like 250 so good luck

Trans Ams dont use 9006. You have to buy a conversion kit from eurolamps then get the h7 hid kit off ebay. 6000k=white,8000k=more of a light blue color, and 10,000k=dark ass blue this is what i have and I love it. Not quite as bright as the other 2 but lights up the road much better than stock. Im also running yellow fogs. But for the fogs I used a halogen because when I lock the car the fogs flash and that will burn out the balast on hids. The bulbs are very yellowand were only 28 bucks. I went for the Lexus look lol

got my hids headlights and fogs 1200k for 110 a pair ...notice big ass diffrence in lighting ,but now i have to buy new fog lamp housings cus the chrome part started peeling off, and i was told that its because the lights get to hot and heat cant escape the fogs, wich caused the chrome to come off, or something like that...
