Headlight short

Hello all, I am a new member and I love the site! I want to tell about a short that I had in the headlights of my 2000 Z-28 and what I found was the cause. The breaker in the HL switch actually blew out. I had a dead short. A few hours of poking around and I found that the hot from the switch to the DRL module was pinched between the radio and the rear radio support bracket. Taped the wire and rerouted the wires, short gone. The HL switch was shot and I replaced it. Back on the road. Maybe this will save someone some trouble shooting time some day.
