Headlight motor winky-eyed crap....
need some here right quick. passenger side headlight motor suddenly didnt wanna go up one day. one day i was cleaning out the engine bay and just turned the knob a little bit and it was a bit tight...tighter than the driver side knob. the next day, headlight worked! now it doesnt again. could this be the gear in the motor? or the motor itself? please tell me its just the gear so i can just do the turny 180* thing. thanks....

It sounds like your motor may be on the way out. The gear problem is usually that they strip and will make a hell of a racket. Have someone turn the headlights on or off and listen to the motor and see if it's trying to move the light. One other thing to check is the linkage and make sure it's not binding up or something.

Man this is a price we will always have to pay. I had same prob. Got new gears from metal gears and changed them out. Didn't work. Got new motor and installed the gear in there, worked for a bit. Now I have to rewire the motor, seems there is a short in there so sometimes I wink and sometimes its normal. So I just drive with my highbeams if it winks so I can see.
