headlight motor problem

As of this morning, one of my headlight motors is acting up. When I turn off my head light and they go down, one motor just keeps going for like 5 more seconds and makes a grinding sound. Also, now when I pust the lock button on my key fob the light flip up then go back down and the grinding happens again. Can anyone help me out?

U need to replace the motor that is grinding. Get them at most any auto parts store. U can also do a search on here and find a thread where u can get a replacement gear for a lil cheaper but is alot more user friendly jus to buy a new motor and replace it.

Yes it does trust me I had the same problem and thought why the hell would it make it do that. There are hundreds of posts on this in this site. I wouldnt steer u the wrong way. I swapped the motor out and all the problems were solved. I was amazed

Check out this link. It has part numbers and towards the bottom of the page. It will specify the problem u are having. Hope this helps u out. It sure did me.
