Headlight help
Ok, I need some help. Have the stuck headlight. Popped the hood, manually raised the headlight (counterclockwise), removed the arm that attaches to the motor, rotated the gear 180 degrees, reattached the arm. Headlight won't lower manually by going the opposite direction (clockwise) with manual opperation. Lowered it by turning counterclockise and turned on my headlights. Nothing. One popped up only. Turned them off and the one that works went down and guess what...the other one came up! WTF is going on? Now it's working but is backwards from the other one. I've taken it apart and did it all over again, but with my headlight down, I can't raise it by going counterclockwise manually anymore. I have to go clockwise. How did that happen? I looked at the good headlight and everything looks the same when it's attached. Someone give me some insight!

You may need to replace the internal gear in the headlight motor. Is it making any grinding or unpleasant noises when you try to raise or lower them?
