Black- 2000 SS camaro
headers?
I have a 00 ss camaro I'm gonna put 243 heads on it with ls7 lifters 228r cam what size headers should I get? I was looking at kooks and should I get the Texas speed y pipe high flow cats on it?

Since you are upping the ante with the cam, the 1-7/8" Kooks headers are the way to go. I would also utilize the Kooks high flow catted Y, rather than the Texas Speed Y. I run this exact setup on our car. Strongly recommend that you include in your purchases a set of new GM exhaust gaskets, Stage 8 locking header bolts (stainless), and a set of DEI heat sleeves on your ignition wires.

What Jeff said. You are going to push enough air to take advantage of the 1 7/8" tubes and Kooks headers are some of the best on the market. Just remember that you get what you pay for.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
