NO. Carbon metallics are also known as "semi-metallic" pads. They give you more fade resistance and better braking power than standard organic pads. Carbon metallics are hard on rotors and dust like crazy. You should consider good ceramic pads. Go look at Tire Rack's brake products. I use their Akebono ceramic pads; the Hawk pads are good too.
