Has my car been previously programmed?

Hello folks, I'm looking at a 1998 ws6 6spd car, its has a few mods. It also has the p0803 dtc code I found out how to diagnose this by searching here. MY question is, is there any way to tell if this car has been programmed??

    Any help would be appreciated,

hmmm, tough one. if you hook up a tech 2, gm's scan tool, it might let you in on some info, but then again, depending on if it is reflashed somehow, scanning it with the dealer tool could fry your pcm. maybe. you should hit up the user Frost- that guy knows his shit

well, does it have the skip shift disabled on it? That could be a transistor but that if there's nothing hooked to the tranny to disable it I'd say at least that's been done. It'd be real hard to tell if it's been tuned without pulling the tune and comparing it to stock. Anything else missing? Rear O2's? EGR? A.I.R.? Those would be a few things I would look at.

Alright i got ya. But if the car really does run flawlessly, why are you so worried about if it was tuned or not. The only problem i could see is if it was locked, otherwise you can always have everything retuned or even put back to stock.
