    forget strut tower brace
    koni's w/ strano springs
and yes sway bars 1le(32mm) or 35mm front 22 rear (Strano hollow set).
sub frame connectors help keep body flex from torque under control but good shocks eliminate any sturdiness effects in the turns that sfc's would provide with poor shocks.

Do you need to keep the cat for emissions?

I would look a Pacesetter LT's (Long Tubes) or shorties depending on whether or not you need to get the car smog tested. Pacesetter makes a good header at a decent price.

ebay option racing headers stainless steel $220
    pacesetter
    hooker
    jethot
If your going cheap I would get the ebay option since they won't rust like ceramic coated, and a flowmaster merge. You'll see what I am talking about when you see the different y-pipes.

For cornering and handling. Ditch the panhard bar and get a Watts Link in its place. Pricey, but very functional.

Didn't see a price listed OP was trying to keep under. He asked for a good handling mod, a Watts Link is that. If I was going for a corner carver out of my TA, Watts link would be high up there on the 'to do' list.

Also, if you add the price of a adjustable panhard bar and (if your exhaust requires) a panhard bar relocation kit, a Watts link is not to far out of reach in price. Just my opinion on pricing, but the Watts Link is a great handling mod that doesn't seem to come up often enough.

Yah he didn't mention pricing-I better hide my credit card from myself for a few days.

Just about every other car with a live axle these days has one from the factory.

The idea has been around for 200+ years. The guy who invented is kinda popular also James Watt. Also that light bulb thingy (Watt)

Mustang guys have been using them for quite some time now.

Yeah I remember looking at pics of that Watts Link on Strano's site when it first came out. Interesting piece. I haven't checked around if anyone with a 4th gen is running it and what configurations they've tried. It does look rather heavy though.
