gutting your cats
what is all involved after you gut them. will it throw a code just curious
G2 lid,removed EGR/AIR,LS6intake,Shaner S3 Throttlebody,Edelbrock Ti-Tech coated LT's,Lanes 3" TD's with Flo-Pro Twister mufflers,Textralia Exo-Skel Clutch,Adjustable LCA & PHB,UMI boxed SFC,Pro 5.0 shortened 1",Raptor Shift Light,HPE Tune Made 359/361 through a slipping clutch,cats,and catback.

After you gut them, you will throw a few codes for low catalyst or efficency.
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....

sense they are the back 2 sensors that will be throwing the code it wont effect the air to fuel mixture right. how do you get the light off

ive heard the sims went bad due to near exhaust heat... just get it tuned out.. sims are 99 bucks from the ws6 store tho...

so basically o2 sims just block the sensors from sending a code to the computer

Good idea... mine is a daily driver so i cant really do anything to it unless its gonna be a quick fix...headers have to wait... ive been driving around a while with the 02 codes... its just annoying...

the front regulate the mixture of air/fuel.. you get rid of those im pretty sure your not gonna be happy...the rears make sure the cat is there/functioning...

The previous owner gutten the left cat and removed the right cat... works fine.. runs great.. sounds great..

yeah i bet. i heard they r much louder when u gut them. so im gussing your waiting until u have 2 get it inspected to tune it?

No inspection here. just about get away with anything.. even murder.. no joke...
but Im gonna have a pipe welded in instead of the gutten cat and get the EGR and AIR system tuned out as well. As for loudness.. when i cut the cat off my truck it made the sound a lot deeper.. not much louder tho...depends on the muffler i guess...

alright.. me confused...!
you dont have to the rear o2s to function and drive
02 sims just get the light off... they plug into the harness where the 02 harness would go...
thats all...
