Agree. Check the idler pulley as well. There are threads about the idler pulleys causing a squealing sound.

Also is it with the a/c on? or is it all the time?
make sure belt is clean and free of cracking or fraying.
If belt is good put your head over the middle of the system of the pulleys (while its running) then determine which side it is coming from?

The belt is almost as much as the tensioner.....you just dont have to special order the belt.....

Just go get you an auto stethoscope and you will find it. Harbor Freight has one for like 5-10 bucks. Just be careful, for obvious reasons, while using it with the belt moving.

Doesn't sounds like a power steering pump unless the pulley is misaligned. Sounds like it could be idler pulley, belt tensioner, or belt. You could try spraying some soapy water on the belt while its running and see if the noise disappears temporarily. That usually means the belt is noisey.

I agree with this or a piece of hose and put it close to your ear and pass it close to the diffrent tensioners and pulleys. the sound will get louder. Also check your alternator.
