Gm battery sensor?
Hey guys just wondering if anybody knows anything about the battery sensor that goes over top of the negative cable? I am doing a swap in an old car and had a 2005 truck harness reworked. I just noticed the plug for the sensor now that I am buttoning things up but I would prefer not to use it since it is on the opposite side of my battery in the engine compartment. Will the alternator still charge of this plug is not used? Would it throw an CEL? Anybody know how to bypass it? Thanks
