    Gear question?

    Probably should have posted in drive train section but thought more people would see it here. Anyways, will a 3.42 gear out of a six speed car fit my car which is a a4 with 3.23s. There both series 3 carriers right? some one told me I needed thick cut gears?

    Yes, they're both series 3 and that 3.42 gear will work in your car as is.
