    2000 camaro

    gear and posi replacement.where to go in NJ

    Can anyone recommend an installer in NJ? I am looking to go with new gears and a new posi.Its been making some nosie for some time.I figure its a pininon bearing and want to upgrade to 3.42 and what brand posi should i go with

    you'll spend $800-$1,200 for a replace ment... might as well spend the money and get a 12 bolt rear and be done with rear problems... going with a lower gear ratio like that will make the rear even more weak than it was to start with...
