    gear confusuion...HELP!

i ordered a richmond 4.10 gear and pinion set and now have found out that in order to install it i need to do more mods...forget that! the guy from summit told me that "superior axle gears" makes a 4.10 specifically for a 2002 t.a. as i look around here i see lots of people talking about Motive, SLP and GM gears and now i'm freakin confused on what to go with! i already ate 180 bucks on the richmond and dont wanna make that mistake again...please HELP!

when i read this i called and the guy told me its a real pain in the ass...and told me superior axle and gear makes the right easy install gear...i don't know thats why i am confused.

i actually ordered it from LMPerformance.com and it says nothing on their website about the paddle block or whatever

I picked up my Motive 3.90's from New Era Performance (a sponsor on this site). The guys were GREAT to work with and the install went smoothly. You might want to give them a call to see if they can match a 4.10 to your 2002 T/A.
