Gaskets for head and cam swap
Hi everyone,
I am new here and need some help. I am getting ready to do a head and cam swap in my 02 vette and joined here to read up on how to's. The first question I have is about gaskets. What gaskets can be reused on a ls motor when doing the swap? I know I need the following, Head gaskets and bolts, balancer bolt, front cover gasket, front cover seal, water pump gaskets, and timing chain. Can the following gaskets be reused or should I replace them Intake gaskets and valve cover gaskets. The car currently has 40,000 miles on it, so should I upgrade to LS7 lifters and LS2 lifter trays?
Thanks

front seal, timing cover and water pump gaskets. I would get a new front seal and water pump at least. my timing chain gasket still looked new when i took it off
