gas smell

I have borla 3in cat back, no cats.... At idle and sometimes when driving with the heat on, my car smells gassy and it smells like there is gas coming through my heat vents in my car...my clothes also smell gassy. Any oponions of what it might be? i just bought a new gas cap, and just got a tune with new borg and warner taylor wires, and ac delco platinum plugs, and i changed the pcv valve, i didnt change the 02 sensor....and also there is no engine light or anything coming on

When you say "Just got a tune" are you saying someone tuned the computer or were you meaning you did a tune up.......

Also how many miles are on it.?

full tune up minus the 02 sensor, i just bought the car a couple days ago, not really knowledgeable about the ins and outs, but the car has alot of performance stuff already installed including borla, k&n system, hooker headers, msd set-up.....i no it has no cats, and i didnt change the 02 sensor....i dont really know what it could be though

So does the exhaust smell gassy also like it's running rich? If not I would say maybe there is a exhaust leak maybe or even a prior gas leak sprayed fuel into the heater/ a/c box.
Also what if you turn it to vent or a/c does it still smell like gas?
Or is it only on the heater setting that it smells gassy?

yea the exhaust smells pretty strong too....i usually turn the heat on the vent setting, and it smells like the heat has a gas smell to it coming out of the vent, even while driving it seems like. maybe its just the lingering smell of the gassy exhaust and i think its coming out of the vents also....its just like my clothes smell all gassy and its not like i get out of the car and sleep behind the pipes, you know
