Gas peddle won't go more than 1/3 down...

Like stated above, I have had several cases of the hard peddle. Typically this happens when the tcs is activated, however recently it has been that way without causing it to be activated. I have tried turning the tcs off and back on and still is hard. Even after shutting the car down and restarting it is hard. The only way I have found to get past the hard peddle is to stand on it and push past it. Not that standing on the peddle isn't fun, however not always the most conducive fix. Anyone have any suggestions that can be a fix?

I would start by checking to make sure the cable isn't kinked somewhere, and that the throttlebody and pedal move freely.

I did that. I had to make my own pcv boot and that was my first thought. However, it moves freely. It's the same feeling you get when the Traction Control kicks on. However, it does not go away.

I talked to the previous owner and he said it would do that same thing to him. So he disconnected the cruise control system and that fixed it. I can't see how that would relate...

It's possible the cruise module has an issue. It's worth trying, and see if it changes anything. If so, you've found your problem.
