Gas Gauge?
My gas gauge has basically stopped working. 2 weeks ago I installed dynamat in my hatch area, and took everything out. Upon reinstalling everything, my gas gauge stopped working. When I fill up my tank, the gauge goes way past F, then as I drive and the tank empties it will slowly drop to about half (after about 275 miles or so). By this time it's time to fill up again. Does anybody know what would be causing it to malfunction like this? Is there a wire that I could have pinched or something when I reinstalled everything in my hatch? Should I try disconnecting and reconnecting my battery, as it may have been a configuration error?

When my gas tank gets below half (usually about a quarter), my gauge gets real erratic and will say empty also. Usually if you turn the car to run for a sec instead of starting it right up it rectifies the situation for me at least. I believe it's the sensor in the tank going bad (drawing a blank on the part).

I can't be of any help but would like to know some sort of solution because my guage is kinda messed also. It will stay on full forever. It will say that I finally used a 1/4 of a tank in the first 150-215 miles but then the next half a tank goes pretty quick. It just seems like it isn't correctly adjusting itself when I am traveling down the highway, but after turning it off and then starting it back up, it will get closer to the actual amount of gas I have left in my tank.
So any suggestions anyone has, and i'm sure we'll be greatful. Thanks
