G8 vehicle specific page?
Hey everyone! Finally back on here some. Just getting back into the car game again and I just purchased a 2009 G8 gt. This has probably been brought up before but was wondering why there was no specific page for these cars? Are they not popular enough or not enough interest? Just curious?

I think most of the G8's out there were the six cylinder variety, and they did t have an "enthusiasts" version until the last year of production. If you have a GT or GXP, I'd probably go through the GTO section, as both are Holdens and share the similar platform (the Monaro /GTO was pulled from the Commodore/G8/Chevy SS) architecture. I think there are a few Commodore guys that lurk the site still.

Congrats! They are badass rides -- I tried to talk my wife into one back in '11, but she opted for a Challenger. I still regret not buying it for myself!

I'm loving it so far! It is really close to the gto which is what I originally wanted but figured I'd have kids in the next couple years and wanted to 4 doors. Few big differences in the g8 gt (that's the v8 version) and the gto, one being the motor. Both are 6.0s but the g8 has the l76 motor with DOD. There is a whole different forum for those cars but I can't seem to make an account. Love this forum and was hoping to continue using for this car to!
