Very, very carefully... make them look like this:
I ordered these from Afterthoughts Auto (site sponsor) -- they are Corvette FRC's modified to fit our T/A.

Like he said - the left needs to be cut to allow for the AIR pump valve, and the right needs to be cut for the harness and PCV hoses.

I cut mine myself to make them fit, unless you have a good eye, you wouldn't be able to tell.

What did you use to cut them? Dremel, saw, drill?

My dad had this massive set of scissors lol.
I don't see why a set of dikes wouldn't work, but if you have a dremel, that should work perfectly fine.
I used a drill on the dipstick tube part. I drilled a hole out for that...
I didn't realize they had to be cut up so much when I bought them, i might of just went with ones that would fit, but i just made due with what I had.
They turned out ok imo.

It's not hard to see where you need to cut, take your time and do it yourself.

+1 The locating points to be aware of so you can measure everything up are the front clips. They snap onto the fuel rail just behind the schrader valve on the driver side and just behind the rail cap on the passenger side. The slots for the fuel lines should be centered for where the lines set naturally so as not to put any pressure on them. Also, if you have deleted the secondary air, the cut at the back of the driver side cover will not need to be as far forward as in the pics I posted.
Just some notes from my install:
1. Definitely push your cowl seal clips out as this will save you some blood loss.
2. I had to bend my air tubes out away from the engine, more so on the passenger side -- and removing the passenger tube is the way to go as it really interferes with trying to navigate the cover up over the dipstick tube.
3. Use blue painters tape and small towels to protect everything.
4. I used a bungee cord to pull the throttle and cruise cables up away from the engine by hooking one end around the cables and the other into a hole in the hood on the passenger side.
5. I removed the cable bracket located in the valley adjacent to the driver side coil pack -- it sticks up too far and the rear cover clip would not engage.
6. Take your time -- it is a semi-frustrating process, especially on the passenger side.
