    fuel pressure

    HI I have 02 Tahoe 70000 mile 5.3 No service engine light works great but as soon I rebuilt my transmission I went got my truck from shop went to home now doesn't start I check fuel press is ok but as soon I start the engine slowly the fuel press Gage comes down and shut off the engine but when I bleed the gas from the press Gage the pressure goes up and truck works ok please can you help?

    First thing I would do would be to get underneath the truck and trace all of the fuel lines from the tank all the way to the front and back to ensure that none were crushed or crimped while the transmission was being removed and reinstalled. Many of times the lines that run near the transmission crossmember get knocked around and crushed if someone isn't being careful. Next would be to check your fuel filter, if it has not been changed I would definitely change it before looking at the fuel pump.

    I agree with Steve and I would also put a gauge on the rail just to monitor the psi at the injectors. I know it's a crushed line but it may be another issue so monitor the pressure as well.

    Thankyou from both of you the fuel pump was the problem I was lucky stops in my parking garage I changed and truck works great but one more think any one heard if they disconnect the battery terminals and after a while A/C system need to be programmed?
    because was working ok after replacing transmission my A/C blower works and cold but docent blow from front vents and I hear the vents keep moving only blow from top windshield any idea?please
    I checked maybe vacuum hose but mine docent have vacuum hose works with electronic
