Commonly known Fram oil filters suck. The fuel filter is prolly ok. You don't need fancy oil filters like M1 or K&N, Purolater or AC Delco is fine.

If a Fram oil filter can come unglued internally, it can clog entirely and deprive your engine of oil. This has been talked about in this thread and a dozen others.
How much do you save with a Fram oil filter?
Is it worth risking your motor?
I started this thread because I was worried about using a Fram fuel filter, I am trying one now.

I have no idea about FRAM's fuel filters, but why take the risk. We all know that FRAM oil filters suck big time. WIX makes a fuel filter for our cars, why not just use a WIX. I think I paid like 6-7 bucks for one. Just my 2 cents.

My auto parts store stocks lots of oil filters, but only Fram fuel filters. My car is being reassembled with some major upgrades. I just changed the fuel filter as it was accessible at the time. Next time I will shop early and find a Wix.
