front left pop up head light-PLEASE HELP
the front drivers side pop up head light wont go back down. It goes down but the motor keeps trying to pull it further even though its all the way down. It will pop up and go down but motor stays on and just goes eeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhh.Please help me its in my drive way with the lights on because of this.I know i can manually do it but want to fix it now if possible.

Ordered the brass gear to replace the stripped plastic pos.

how i fixed mine
i just poped the cover off mine and cleaned it out and turned the gear so the ruined threads so the worm gear wouldn;t go through it because the headlight only uses half of the round gear.

yes the thing only uses half of the gear. I have fixed mine and others by using the other half. takes about 15 mins

That trick doesn't work on all of them. I flipped mine and it just made it grind going up instead of down. I put in the brass gear and all is good.
