    Post FRA vs RA Kits

Now on my TA I already did the Free Ram Air mod. Now i was wondering if i was going to notice Any gains if i got a Ram Air Kit. Also does anyone have any pics of a Ram Air Kit. I thinking about just play around with some Sheet metal i got laying around and making my own. They really don't look that Difficult to Make.

I didnt notice shit with the FTRA and I yanked it out twice when I had to visit the dealers. My friend with an 02 z28 didnt notice anything either.

PLUS Not only did I yank out the FTRA on dealer visits, i also yanked out the lid and filter.

I remember reading on here or ls1tech that with cars over 300hp, you wont notice 10 hp increments, but you would on say a 100hp car.

I always thought you'd have to be going pretty fast (110-120+) to notice a difference with the FTRA. Some guys love em', some guys hate them. I did the FRA and noticed some gains though...

I know a couple of guys with 9 second LS1 F bods and they use the FTRA type kits and say they work. One guy went so far as to put a strip of sheet metal behind the black plastic air damn across the bottom of the car so it won't deflect backwards under high speeds and push more air into the ram air duct.
