    ?1. is this blue wire the exciter wire running to the PCM?

    ?2. so the F-body alt. wire connecter is a four pin however there actualley only one wire connected to alt.?

    I added 18 inches to the wire so I can drop my alt and lay it on the ground ...

    In order to not have to make this fix, how would you take out the connector properly while the alternator is still installed on the vehicle?
    Ported/Polished throttle body, Lingenfelter launch module, SLP line lock, QTP exhaust cutout, LS7 clutch, K&N, Ceramic coated longtubes, no cats, 3" exhaust, Flowmaster "B", Eibach springs, Midwest Chassis 9" rearend w/4.10's, tru-trac, Strange nodular S case, Daytona support, 1350 Series yoke

    Very carefully cradle it and turn it to where you have access to the connector. Sometimes an extra set of hands helps.
