    Angry Felpro gaskets

So i was this close }{ to installing my sexy powdercoated valve covers today. I bought some Felpro gaskets and they are this bright sky blue color which I can actually see peeking out under the valve cover. now, i haven't bolted them down yet b/c i'd like to know-will the gasket be completely hidden or will i still see this gay blue rubber line around my sweet valve covers?

I get the feeling i'll still see the blue-mainly b/c they look too thick to be totally hidden. Anyone have a line on black/red/gray gaskets i could use?

What year is the car? I have a set of 98 valve cover gaskets you can have if you need them.

Why don't you reuse your stock ones? Thats what they're for, and why they're rubber to begin with.

mine got pretty stretched out to the point that they wouldn't go back in right. I have a 2000-but damn, that would have been nice of ya-thanks!

You can get them back in. They're almost always like that when you pull them out. It seems as though there's an inch too much slack. Work your way around the perimeter of the valve cover pushing the gasket in, you may have to go around 4-5 times but it will eventually squeeze in there. Thats very common.

    Good luck
