Incorrect you can use a factory knob on the Hurst Billet Plus, just don't go with the Chrome stick.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I have never seen it an option?

Yes the the Billet Hurst does offer adjustable spring tension, it comes with 2 springs on each side, a bigger stiff one on the outside and a smaller lighter one on the inside.

The Stock shift knob will work with the Billet Hurst with the black stick. When I upgraded to the Hurst, I also got the leather wrapped H knob to match. I must have had like the only Ws6 Trans Am that didn't come equipped with it.

Hurst shifter was not an available option in 1998.

The Hurst Billet Plus is available with either a satin black stick or a chrome stick.
Also this is not the same shifter as the Factory Option Hurst.

Yeah, I know about the factory P.O.S.
My factory shifter on my 97SS snapped off at the base of the pivot ball! I called them up to complain and they shipped me a brand new Billit Plus!

Pro 5.0 for me, with a B&M handle. I am like others, I have used many B&M products before and believe in them for sure..... I just tried the Pro 5.0 on my last 4th gen and loved it, so I went back for more.
