"FAST Intake manifold on a WS6"
Ok guys. I have a few questions. I want to put a FAST intake on a 2002 WS6. Has anyone out there done this? What all would be involved? A buddy of mine said that I might need to buy fuel injector extensions. And what do you guts think about how the new fuel rail system should go on? Should I put the intake on with the fuel rails on it or should I put the intake on and the put the fuel rails on? Also, is there anything else I might need to know before starting this? Thanks everbody.

You wanna do the whole shebang or just the intake itself? Meaning do you wanna get the most of out of or do you just wanna put it on?

I just got done doing a 102 on my 01 camaro. I went with the ls2 fuel rail. If it is a automatic then you will need to modify the tranny dip stick tube or buy a aftermarket (which i ended up doing). I installed then intake then the fuel injectors then the rail. It was not bad doing it this way with the exception of getting the fuel rail on.

Thats not necessarily true. It may not be worth the money he will have to spend, but it will be worth it if he has the money burning a hole in is pocket.. Tony Mamo has many dyno graphs to prove it and I have talked to all the big name places, TSP, Tony Mamo, VA speed, BRE, and LMR and they all say that it would be worth it if I dont mind spending the money.
Best thing about doing it now, is that 9 chances out of 10 he will not have to buy another intake setup again. The 102 will work with anything for a lil 346 to a big 454lsxr

I'm going to the whole mess on it. 102mm throttle body, 100mm MAF, 104mm lid. Everything.

ok. Thats what we just got done doing. Some things we ran into. The water pump needed grinded and watch where you put your map sensor also. You already know you have to purchase all of that extra stuff. They do make spacers to use your ls1 injectors, but we just bought new injectors. Buy the specific FAST 102 fuel rails
They say that you should take it apart and clean it up alil for it to flow better, but we just put his on and didnt take it apart. use your tb bracket off your current intake. The new kit will have bolts to put it on the 102. Thats about it. Yea it cost alot of money, but for the long run its a great investment.

Bat mobile black- 2000 Trans am WS6 M6
If youre changing your intake id change your PCV set up also if you havent already and get a catch can so you dont basically ruin your brand new intake.
