    1997 Corvette:

    5.7 Liter LS1: 345hp at 5,600 rpm/350 ft-lbs of torque at 4,400 rpm


    1998 Corvette:

    5.7 Liter LS1: 345hp at 5,600 rpm/350 ft-lbs of torque at 4,400 rpm


    1998 Camaro/Trans-Am

    5.7 Liter LS1: 305hp at 5,200 rpm/335 ft-lbs of torque at 4,000 rpm

    1998 Camaro SS/WS6

    5.7 Liter LS1: 320hp at 5,200 rpm/345 ft-lbs of torque at 4,400 rpm

    1999 Corvette

    5.7 Liter LS1: 345hp at 5,600 rpm/350 ft-lbs of torque at 4,400 rpm

    (First year for Aluminum heads on LQ4)

    I will add the rest of GM vehicles through 2004 that have the Gen 3 once I am cleared of a repost. Its alot of time consuming typing and don't want to do it for nothing

    im sure this is a dumb question but what makes the ls1 in the 97 vette have 40 more hp than the ls1 in my camaro? anything? or did they just rate it lower for the camaro

    just about every year they put ia little bigger cam and better heads in the vettes to keep them the flagship model
